Dear Reader! ‘Dachi’n mynd i weld Taylor Swift dros yr wythnosau nesaf? Gesi’r fraint o fynd i’r sioe yng Nghaeredin, y noson ora erioed! Dyma dipyn o tips a pethau i’w ddisgwyl –

Foolish One – Ewch yn fuan! Am le confusing!! Ar ôl cyrraedd y stadiwm am 17:00, buom yn cerdded o amgylch yr adeilad am dipyn yn chwilio am y mynediad cywir. Ond yn lwcus, oedd y staff yn gymwynasgar ofnadwy ac erbyn 17:50 roeddem i fewn yn y stadiwm efo’n diodydd ond roedd rhaid disgwyl yn hir am y toiledau. Oedd y ciw yn hir a felly nesi fethu dipyn o set Paramore. Annoying! Beth bynnag, oni’n eistedd yn fy set yn tynnu lluniau ac yn rhannu breichledi cyfeillgarwch gyda pawb efo 50 munud i fynd tan oedd Taylor ar y llwyfan.

Doedd y prisiau ddim yn rhy ddrud ym Murrayfield i gymharu a lleoliadau erill! Ymchwiliwch y set list cyn mynd a penderfynnwch pa gân fyswch chi ddim yn mendio methu. Yng Nghaeredin, dim ond 2 toiled oedd yn agos at ein seti heb orfod mynd i lawr 4 set o risiau i’r portaloos, nesi dewis i beidio yfad, dim ond cymeryd dŵr pan oni angen i beidio methu eiliad o’r sioe!

My Fourth Drink In My Hand – Ewch i nôl ‘merch’ y diwrnod cynt, neu ar ôl i’r cyngherdd orffen. Ar ôl i’r sioe orffen nesi eistedd am 20 munud yn disgwyl i bawb arall adael (doeddwn i ddim ar frys i fynd), yna esi’n syth i nôl hot dog a bwytais yn y ciw i nôl ‘merch’. Ar ôl ciwio am tua 15 munud, nesi brynnu crys-T am £40. Doedd dim llawer o ddewis o seisys bach erbyn hyn, oni’n lwcus i gael seis S.

Photos: Twenty-Five Cents Each – Cludiant. Doedd dim lle i aros yng Nhaeredin am bris rhesymol, felly arhosom yn Glasgow, tua awran i ffwrdd o stadiwn Murrayfield. Oedd y siwrne i’r stadiwn yn ddigon hawdd, nesi archebu Uber riw bythefnos ymlaen llaw heb drafferth. Oni’n meddwl fysa’r siwrne adra wedi bod yn hawdd hefyd. NOPE! Oni’n meddwl bo fi di dewis man pigo fyny yn ddigon bell o’r stadiwm ond nesi ddim. Ar ôl sefyll yn y glaw am awran yn disgwyl am y car, fe gafodd ei ganslo! Felly cerddom dipyn pellach oddi wrth y stadiwm i McDonalds lle gafo ni afael ar Uber arall, ar ôl trio 3 dreifar gwhanol!! Gorffennodd y sioe am tua 22:15 ac oni’n cysgu’n braf erbyn 01:45.

Y tro nesaf byddwn yn siwr o bwcio Uber tua 20+ o funudau i ffwrdd o’r stadiwm i osgoi traffic, neu yn cerdded at y stasiwn bws/trên nesaf i osgoi’r ciws.

Six Weeks Of Breathing Clean Air – Capture it, remember it. Tynnwch gymaint o luniau a fidios a sy’n bosib! Newch chi ddim difaru camera roll llawn lluniau, ond mi wnewch chi ddifaru dim cael llun yn eich gwisg yn disgleirio o flaen y llwyfan. Oedd mi oedd o bach yn embarrasing yn posio o flaen torf o bobl, ond dwi’n ddiolchgar o gael y lluniau, a beth bynnag, oedd pawb arall yn neud yr un peth, rhai yn hybu ni’n mlaen hyd yn oed – “you look amazing!”, “wait let me fix your hair!” a “OMG I love your boots, where did you get them from?!”

Oedd yr awyrgylch ym Murrayfield y noson honno yn berffaith, yn llawn genod yn cefnogi’i gilydd ac yn rhannu breichledi. Ydych chi’n mynd i weld Taylor?

Dear Reader! Are you going to see Taylor Swift over the next few weeks? I had the honour of attending the show in Edinburgh, best night ever! Here are a few tips and things to expect –

Foolish One – Go early! What a confusing place!! After arriving at the stadium at 17:00, we were wandering around the grounds for a while looking for the correct entrance. Luckily, the staff were very helpful and pointed us in the right direction and by 17:50 we were inside the stadium with our drinks in hand but were still waiting for the toilets. The queue was very long and so I missed a few songs from Paramore. Annoying! Anyway, we were in our seats taking pictures and trading friendship bracelets with everyone with 50 minutes to spare before Taylor got on stage.

Two Paper Airplanes Flying – Dress comfortably. Yes, the cowboy boots look amazing, but they’re not the comfiest… Luckily, I packed After Party Pumps in my bag, and wore them for the rest of night. Another thing about dressing appropriately… it was freezing after the sun set! Take a jumper or a light jacket with you if you’re attending an open roof stadium like Anfield, Liverpool.

For Every Lie I Tell Them, They Tell Me Three – Go straight to buy your food and drinks, buy multiple drinks to last the whole show, saves you having to go to the bar again! The prices at Murrayfield compared to other venues weren’t too bad. Look up and research the set list before hand to decide which songs you wouldn’t mind missing too much. At Edinburgh, we only had 2 toilets close to our seats without having to go down 4 flights of stairs to the portaloos, I chose not to drink, only taking sips of water when I needed as not to miss a second of the show!

My Fourth Drink In My Hand – Get your merch the day prior to your show, or after the show ends. After the show ended I sat in my seat for about 20 minutes, waiting for the crowd to die down slowly (I wasn’t in any rush to leave), then I went straight to get a hot dog which I ate during my time waiting in line for merch. After queuing for about 15 minutes, I bought myself a T-shirt for £40. There wasn’t much choice in sizing left at this point, I was lucky to secure a size S.

Photos: Twenty-Five Cents Each – Transport. There was nowhere to stay within Edinburgh itself at a reasonable price, so we stayed in Glasgow, around an hour from the stadium. The journey to Murrayfield was straightforward, I ordered an Uber around 2 weeks before the show without any issues. I thought the way home would be just as simple. NOPE! I thought I had picked a good pick up point far enough from the stadium but I didn’t. After standing in the rain for an hour waiting for the car it got cancelled! So we walked a little further to a McDonalds where we finally got a hold on an Uber, after trying 3 different drivers!! The show ended at around 22:15 and I was asleep by 01:45.

Next time, we will make sure to book the Uber further away from the stadium to avoid traffic, or walk to the next bus/train stop to avoid queues.

Six Weeks Of Breathing Clean Air – Capture it, remember it. Take as many pictures and videos as possible! You will not regret a full camera roll, but you might regret not having a photo of yourself in your outfit, shining in-front of the stage. Yes, it was a little awkward posing in-front of a crowd of people, but I’m grateful for having the photos, and anyway, everyone else did the same! Some even egged us on – “you look amazing!”, “wait let me fix your hair!” and “OMG I love your boots, where did you get them from?!”

The atmosphere at Murrayfield this night was perfect, full of girls supporting each other and sharing friendship bracelets. Are you going to see Taylor?
